OYO Alumhurst Hotel

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful specially Mr Hamada was so easy and helpful . The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre

Basic ,cheap and cheerful. Close to the tower and easy to walk to main areas of entertainment. Room was clean and tidy and a good size. Would stay here again but would want the same room as I cannot speak for the others. Electric heater provided in room which was big plus as visiting in October it was quite chilly outside.

Absolutely fabulous. Staff are friendly, rooms have what you need for a comfortable stay and breakfast is lush. You can walk to the promenade or winter gardens from here no issue and if you reserve a space (£5 a day) it's the cheapest parking too. Highly recommend

Clean tidy modern good toiletries hard working staff and cleaners was upset about last oyo hotel was at so ended up with a free night some where else and it was at this one and was 10 times better very happy with outcome much better. :-)

One of the best hotels I've actually stayed in, within Blackpool and the surrounding areas, to date to be honest. Compared to another hotel ran by this chain of hotels, not far away: hollingdale... Then this place is absolutely spot on. Spotless, comfortable beds, odd little luxuries that are taken for granted at home but which some 3* hotels/B&Bs still don't offer... i.e heating/air con/hot towel rail/mini decent supply of toiletries/lamps etc.... TV, kettle and brew supplies included within the standard double em-suite room I booked.... The only downside I could find was the size of the shower cubicle... Well, more the space the shower was built into... Could do with adjustments made between the amount of space\gap in between the toilet and the sliding shower door as its quite a difficult position\fit upon entering in and out, if you happen to be anything but slender like myself but other than that, everything in the room was top notch. From checking in to checking out, I enjoyed every second and really wish I hadn't spent my first 4 days at the company chain, hollingdale hotel.. Which happens to be a total run down dive of a place... And I wish I had booked in this place for the full 6 days I was over that way for. The staff were nothing but professional, friendly and approachable. The place felt secure upon the reception desk closing at 11pm each night due to cctv, locked main doors [guests are free to come and go at all hours due to being given your own key] and also there's always someone close by, all night long i.e security\manager who seems to either be in the office or room downstairs, if need be. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect also, especially if you plan on being near the tower\Central and North piers/shopping centre and coral Island... Not too mention the street upon it lays, mainly all B&B's/hotels from what I could gather... Quite a spacious street, lit up with strings of fairy lights I loved every minute of my stay here, my only regret like I stated, is it actually wasn't for longer. I have been looking into staying again at some point. I have noticed that the prices vary, as do the majority of most hotels, Though this one does seem to get quite pricey at points (again, I myself can see why and actually would say it's worth the going rate compared to others I've stayed in) but if checking in-out dates aren't a issue to yourself then just keep checking every couple of days and eventually you'll bag yourself a bargain like I was lucky to. Top marks on every aspect in regards to this hotel and I'm looking forward to checking in soon in the near future

Very nice hotel, and staff very helpfull. I stayed for two nights . Breakfast was lovely, but would prefer a pot of tea ,instead of just a cup of tea. Hope to stay there again next year.

Lovely place. Very clean from the outside and very clean inside. Rooms maintained to a very high standard. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The woman Marta who cleans the rooms was lovely and made sure you had whatever you needed. Had a lovely time here. Will definitely come back again to stay. Only downside is limited parking which is not a problem that can be helped due to the large amount of hotels in the street. The hotel however can give you tickets for £5 to park and display in a car park just along the road.

Wow!! Had a 1 night stay here on Wed night with my two young kids (5&2). Arrived to lovely friendly staff, I was two hours early but was still given the key to my room and shown around. I honestly didn't know what to expect for such a fantastic price (£22.50) but the place was immaculate!! We had plenty space for the 3 of us, the shower was amazing! Branded tea and coffee provided in the room aswell as a tv the kids watched before bed. Had a comfortable stay, close enough to walk to all attractions etc but the street the hotel is on was really quiet with a car park just up the street. Greeted by the lovely James in the moving to check out, so friendly and welcoming. Don't see myself booking anywhere than here when we come back. Thanks guys!!
